Grand Geneva Resort & Spa Announces Golf Season Opening Alongside Luxury U.S. Open® Championship Package

The Award-Winning Resort Launches New ‘Fairways and Airways’ Luxury Package and Programming for Both Avid and Junior Golfers this Season

 

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (May 01, 2017) — In honor of the U.S. Open® Championship being held in Wisconsin for the first time in history this June, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, owned and managed by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, has launched a new luxury package, Fairways and Airways, for golf enthusiasts. The 1,300-acre AAA Four-Diamond resort additionally announced the annual openings of its two 18-hole, award-winning courses, The Brute and The Highlands. This season will be complemented by brand- new golf experiences for both avid and junior golfers.

 

Just 50 miles away from Erin Hills where the U.S. Open® is set to take place, Grand Geneva has created an over-the-top Fairways and Airways package that features a helicopter ride, tickets to the U.S. Open®, a stay in a brand new three-bedroom villa, and more. The luxury package starts at $6,999 and is valid over June 14 – 18, 2017, subject to availability and must be booked before May 13, 2017. Guests who book this package will enjoy:

 

  • Two tickets to the U.S. Open®, with access to the ISM off-site hospitality tent with an open bar
  • Two-night stay in a brand-new studio villa that will debut May 2017
  • Helicopter transportation for two to the event
  • Transportation from landing spot to the event

One of the most challenging and magnificent layouts in the Midwest, The Brute Golf Course is now open and considered one of Wisconsin’s best courses. Nestled between rolling green hills with 68 bunkers, the par-72 golf course is perfectly manicured and ideal for locals and visitors alike. The Highlands Golf Course is a Scottish-inspired, links-style course, complete with a stunning backdrop of lush foliage and trickling creeks.

To complement these outstanding courses, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa will officially open 29 brand new villas this month, ideal for golfers traveling with friends or family. The spacious villas will feature studio, one, two and three-bedroom accommodations. Each unit will include a full kitchen, fireplace, flat screen TVs, washer and dryer and deluxe furnishings. Villa guests will be able to enjoy all the amenities of the resort combined with their own outdoor swimming pool during the summer season, as well as six fire pits available for evening enjoyment and entertainment.

This summer, Grand Geneva will debut a variety of programming including:

  • Mother’s Day Golf Special – Mothers play for free when accompanied by a regular price adult (May 13 – 14, 2017)
  • Memorial Day Golf Special – Play The Brute or The Highlands for only $89 (May 27 – 29, 2017)
  • Women’s Golf Month – All women play 18 holes for only $59 before 9 a.m. and after 2 p.m., including green fee, cart fee, rental clubs, and sleeve of golf balls (June 2017)
  • Father’s Day Golf Special – Fathers play The Brute or The Highlands for only $89 (June 18, 2017)

 

For the family that plays together, Grand Geneva will boast programming for guests of all ages to enjoy, including:

  • Take the Family to the Course Month – All Children ages 17 and under play free when accompanied by a full price adult (Monday through Thursday anytime; Friday through Sunday after 4 p.m. One child per one full price adult)
  • NEW Family Golf Clinic – Family lesson hosted by PGA Head Professional Kyle Kunash for $20 per student (Every Sunday in July)

 

For junior golfers, the resort offers the PGA Junior League Golf –  a social experience designed for boys and girls ages 13-and-under available mid-June to late July 2017.  The cost of participation is $299 per junior. Junior League Participants on the Grand Geneva team will receive:

 

  • Weekly instruction during league season
  • 4 competitions versus neighboring courses and teams
  • Team jerseys, balls, and Junior League bag tag
  • Access to customized website home page for schedules, standings and stats
  • Discount in the Grand Geneva Golf Shop
  • Complimentary range use during league season

 

Grand Geneva has also launched a new Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Assessment.  TPI is the leading organization studying how the human body functions in relation to a golf swing. The $150 assessment with PGA Golf Professional Kyle Kunash includes TPI Golf Fitness screening and evaluation, a full report with physical strengths and limitations explanations in relation to a golf swing, a TIP My Golf Fitness handicap score, a 6 – 8-week custom Golf Fitness performance program and more.
