Grand Geneva Resort & Spa Announces Official Opening of New Villas



New Upscale Lodging Options for Guests Launch Just in Time for Summer Season

LAKE GENEVA, Wis., (July 5, 2017) – Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, an award-winning AAA Four-Diamond resort owned and managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is thrilled to  announce the opening of 29 all-season villas. These new offerings are an exciting addition to the 1,300-acre property in the legendary southeastern Wisconsin community of Lake Geneva, Wis. This multi-million dollar investment is designed to enhance the resort experience with expanded, upscale accommodations for leisure and business guests alike.

Nestled in a beautifully manicured and scenic setting, the new villas feature spacious studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom accommodations. Each unit includes a full kitchen, flat screen TVs, washer and dryer and deluxe furnishings, as well as a furnished outdoor sitting area. The interior design of the villas incorporates visual elements of the beautiful outdoors while providing a comfortable experience. Villa guests can also enjoy most resort amenities, from activities at the Adventure Center to access to the award-winning golf courses, combined with their own outdoor swimming pool during the summer season and an outdoor fire pit area for evening enjoyment and entertainment.

To further enhance the experience, villa guests are invited to pamper themselves with a new in-villa spa menu featuring a plethora of treatments, ranging from soothing massages and facials to salon services like manicures and airbrush makeup. Two new spa packages are also offered exclusively at the villas. The “North Shore Package” features a White River Relaxing Massage or Facial and a dry brush exfoliation, and the “Day on the Lake Package” includes a blowout, makeup and lash application.

The resort originally opened in 1968 as the Lake Geneva Playboy Club Hotel. The Marcus Corporation purchased this Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired resort in 1993, and reopened it as the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in 1994. Throughout the years, the company has enhanced the quality of the property by adding three successful restaurants, renovating the award-winning golf courses, adding Timber Ridge Lodge & Water Park, expanding the meeting spaces, and renovating all of the guest rooms and suites. With the addition of the new villas, the enhancement of Grand Geneva Resort & Spa continues. The new villas will increase the total combined units on the property to more than 600.
